Super Troopers 2 – Crowdfunding

Super Troopers 2 is a crime / action based film in which was released by Fox Searchlight Pictures on April the 20th 2018 (more than 17 years after the original film premiered) this film was funded via a crowd funding campaign, this campaign was extremely successful as in just 24 hours the crowd managed to raise a total of 2 million dollars, leading to an overall total of 4.7 million by the end of the campaign, by the end of the production the film had grossed 31 million dollars worldwide.

 Super Troopers 2 was directed by a man named Jay Chandrasekhar, the film is based on former Vermont highway patrol officers Thorny, Farva, Rabbit, Foster and Mac get a shot at redemption from Captain O'Hagan and Governor Jessan. The wacky quintet must provide law enforcement for a French Canadian town that’s transitioning to U.S. sorvereignty. their unconventional methods soon get put to the test when they encounter a smartly mayor, mischivious mounties, a smuggling ring and a 1,300 pound bear. 

The producers of super trooper 2 met their target when it came to the amount of money needed to create the film however the film recived negative feedback on reviews from critics, the film was named a “long-waited disappointment” according to the viewers of the film, therefore although the production of the film was sucsessful, the feedback wasn’t.
